Raise your hand if you love the look of reclaimed wood (you can't see it, but I've got both hands up towards the ceiling over here). It's beautiful and it's environmentally responsible — what's not to love?

I recently came across Aptos, California-based Alibi Interiors the brain-child of Santa Cruz natives Chris Curtis and Paige Lea who make their gorgeous home decor products from reclaimed wood sourced from all manner of local places (fences, floor boards, boats, you name it). I was particularly charmed by these lovely little planting pots, perfect for succulents or herbs, and their shadow boxes and chalk boards make great gifts. Shop their stuff on their website or track them down at a store near you.
