Totally smitten by this week's Glorious Getaway, The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch in Wyoming. Set on 30,000 acres in the Platte River Valley, guests here can make like ranch hands with activities running the gamut from horseback riding to clay shooting to fly fishing.
The decor was inspired by the ranch's original homestead founded in 1884 —I love the vignettes happening everywhere, from the quilts, throws and Western artwork in guest cabins to the checkered table cloths and wild flowers at the tables of the outdoor chuckwagon pavilion, to the little teepee treatment room at the spa.
Relaxation is easy to come by, too. There's yoga on the outdoor deck overlooking Falcon Peak and the Trailhead Spa, where I'd spring for the "Wyoming River Stone Massage". And I love the idea of ending the day at their Creekside Dinner Camp, enjoying a campfire-cooked meal as the stars appear in the sky.
From $750/night per person; includes lodging and all meals, drinks and on-ranch activities
